Janey Hoang provides supervision at Found Waters to individuals in Practicum or Internship and those working towards licensure within the state of Oregon.

“In 2021, I received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. I have received focused training in play therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and trauma informed interventions. I have also received training for suicide-crisis prevention and plan on continuing my education in counseling in order to best provide support and competency throughout my career. I received my license in 2025 and am currently in the process to become a Registered Play Therapist. My education and clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both group and individual settings have been integral in allowing me to supervise student interns and pre-licensed counselors. I am an Oregon Supervisor Candidate and Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon currently practicing at my private practice, Found Waters, LLC.

I utilize a process and strengths-based approach towards supervision. I collaborate with supervisees to supervise in a way that fits their personality, values, work setting, competence level, and therapeutic modalities within my expertise. I will draw from the roles of teacher, consultant, and counselor to assist you through developmentally appropriate supervision and support you in working towards your professional goals in counseling.”
